or by activating a weighing input;
the indicator then behaves as follows:
sends the data 3 times consecutively, if the indicator receives the ACK
character (06H) it waits for a new request;
If it receives the NAK character (15H) it retransmits the string because the
previous transmission failed;
After receiving the NAK character 3 times consecutively, the indicator inserts
the message "NO ACK" (transmission error) in the MF_error_LOG file

Remote commands, i.e. the dialogue between the devices takes place only
through specific commands transmitted by the external device (available only
in extended string format); to check which remote commands are available,
refer to the transmission manual

Serial

This function allows creating an external transmission using the standard Rs-232, Rs-422 protocols.
To create a serial transmission, proceed as follows:

•

Follow the path Menu/Tools/Configuration/transmission/serial to enter the creation page

•

Click on

'Add' to create a new transmission instance

•

Enter the name for the following instance and confirm to create it

To configure the transmission correctly, check the following parameters:

Scale

Allows selecting a scale from those selected A, B, C, D, S or selected scale

Port

Allows selecting the COM port to use (COM4, COM6, COMx depending on the
optional boards or adapters fitted on the indicator)

Transmission
range (ms)

250 default, indicates the pause between the transmission of one data and the
next; in this way the string is transmitted 4 times per second. It is possible to
reduce the interval up to 100 ms and then transmit data up to 10 times per
second (10Hz)

The strings present in the Flynet indicator are as follows, to check their structure
refer to the transmission manual
