7.6 How to tighten the conveyor belts 

Figure 7.2 - Flat belt (belt tightening)

The elastic conveyor belts must be tightened after assembly or after a 
long period of use. 
Make sure that the belts are sufficiently taut by placing a ~ 5 kg weight 
on the line. The load must rest on both the half belts in the case of open 
or "V" belts. 

 

 

WARNING 

  

 

Do  not  exceed  the  recommended  weights.  The  scale  could 
be damaged. If you are in doubt about the carrying capacity, 
check the data plate on the weighing terminal. 

 

 

The belts must convey the load without slipping and/or uncertain
