7.5 How to replace the conveyor belts 

Figure 7.1 - Flat belt (motor view)

1.  Turn off the machine and disconnect it from the electricity main 
2.  Slowly lift the conveyor so as to prevent the electric connection cable 

from being torn out. 

3.  Rest the conveyor on the one at the side. 
4.  Disconnect the motor connector. 
5.  Disconnect the encoder connector. 
6.  With the conveyor on the work bench, slacken the belt by working 

alternately on the screws at the end of each conveyor belt from the 
driven roller side. 

7.  Turn anticlockwise to slacken off the tension. 
8.  Pull the elastic belt from the rollers. If the belt is worn and must be 

replaced, it is advisable to cut it.
