Transmission Time of Analog Parameters
The transmission time of analog parameters depends on the one hand on the con-
version time of analog signals to digital signals in the AS-Interface module, on the
other hand on the transmission time via the AS-Interface.
The conversion time of 2 analog input signals into digital signals is < 1 ms.
5.3.4.1
Transmission Time of Analog Parameters for 2 Channels
The transmission time of 2 16 bit parameters via the AS-Interface amounts - in
worst case - to 7 AS-Interface cycles per parameter. With one cycle period being
5 ms per AS-Interface cycle this sums up to a transmission time of 2 * 7 * 5 ms =
70 ms via AS-Interface.
The transmission time for transmission of 2 analog parameters totals - in worst
case - to 1 ms + 70 ms = 71 ms.
5.3.4.2
Transmission Time of Analog Parameters for 4 Channels
The transmission time of 4 16 bit parameters via the AS-Interface amounts - in
worst case - to 7 AS-Interface cycles per parameter. With one cycle period being
5 ms per AS-Interface cycle this sums up to a transmission time of 4 * 7 * 5 ms =
140 ms via AS-Interface.
The transmission time for transmission of 4 analog parameters totals - in worst
case - to 1 ms + 140 ms = 141 ms.
