Alerts will display, sound and vibrate on your App/phone. You will be
prompted to acknowledge the Alert and resolve the condition that
triggered the Alert. The Very Low Glucose Alert is mandatory and can’t
be turned off.
Your phone provides a “Critical Alerts” feature that lets you receive
Alerts on your lock screen even when your phone is muted or set
to “Do Not Disturb,” as long as your App is open or running in the
background. The “Critical Alerts” feature covers any Very Low or Low
Glucose Alert and any Alert regarding Sensor status. If you did not
“Allow” this feature when first setting up the App, the App will indicate
that Critical Alerts are turned off. You can only use the App for 4 hours
after Critical Alerts have been turned off.
• Tap
Alerts
on the My Settings screen.
The current status (“On” or “Off”) of your
Alerts will be displayed.
• Tap

turned on (off).
Very Low Glucose Alert
• The Very Low Glucose Alert is triggered
when your Sensor glucose falls below 55
mg/dL.
You cannot turn this Alert “Off
.

• The Very Low Glucose Alert is a mandatory
Critical Alert.
Bluetooth
and Critical Alerts
settings in your phone must be set properly
in order for you to receive the Very Low
Glucose Alert. You won’t be able to use the
Bigfoot Unity App properly if
Bluetooth
or
Critical Alerts are off.
