10.7.3 Inserting of the conveyor chain

The conveying chain is delivered in bags.

Before starting the assembly, take the complete chain out of the bag and lay it out

over the entire length.

Make sure the chain has no twists in it.

Always pull-in the chain with the help of a second person: One person pulls-in the

chain and the other person ensures that there are not twists in the chain.

To ensure that the dry feeding system runs without problems, the

conveying chain must not be twisted when it is pulled in!

Weld seams of the chain links are not duly aligned

Weld seams of the chain links are duly aligned

Immediately inspect the conveyor chain for transport damage.

Loosen twisted chain segments, so that the chain plates can be

pulled-in in parallel.
