Caution
1. Before charging, make sure the input is within the range of rating, otherwise, it may affect the
performance of the charger seriously.
2. Always keep the right connection between the charger and battery, and make sure no short
circuit happens, otherwise, the charger won’t work.
3. Had better not charge a battery beside flammable materials; When connect or disconnect the
battery , it is better to set the charger in standby state first so as to reduce the opportunity of
emitting spark, which will lead to a fire.
4. It is possible to emit some explosive gas(hydrogen decomposed from water in the battery) during
the charging course, so it is appreciated to never let flame or spark close a battery to avoid the
risk of fire.
5. This charger is specially designed for charging 12V lead acid battery, and charging other type
battery with this charger may cause an explosion.
6. It is better to disconnect the battery from the charger when the charger is not connected to the
power supply, which can reduce the back drain current cost to the least.
7. If the battery is found to be too hot or leak out some liquid in the charging course, the charging
course must be ceased immediately.
8. When charging a unsealed lead acid battery with this device, please don’t close face to the
battery or the person will be hurt if some corrosive liquid ejects from the battery.
9. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer , its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard..
10. The battery terminal not connected to the chassis has to be connected first. The other connection
is to be made to the chassis, remote from the battery and fuel line. The battery charger is then to
be connected to the supply mains.
11. After charging, disconnect the battery charger from supply mains. Then remove the chassis
connection and then the battery connection.
12. The battery charger is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
13. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the charger.

the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. When the product is no
longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact
your local solid waste authority for recycling information or give the product for disposal
to BGS technic or to the dealer where you purchased the product.
