Automotive Noise Finder
Diagnosis
o
When user hears a dear sound with higher pitch from the headphone, it indicates vibration with
higher frequency.
o
Higher frequency occurs when there is partial damaging on stronger metal components, and the
crack is generally small.
o
When user hears a less clear noise with lower tone, it indicates vibration with lower frequency.
o
Lower frequency occurs when there is larger crack or bigger damaging. Larger, longer, and less
stronger components will be likely to have lower frequency when there is defect.
o
If the noise from the headphone is increased, it means the defect is getting serious; the louder
noise, the more serious defect. If the noise from the headphone appears randomly instead of
intermittently and regularly, it means the components are Ioosing.
Accident may happen any time with this condition.
Operation
1. lnstall the 9V battery in the amplifier by sliding the battery compartment door open and place the
battery in position.
2. Plug the headphones into the jack on the amplifier.
3. The thumbwheel on the side of the case is both the on/off switch and the volume control. Switch
Amplifier on, the red LED of Amplifier shall lights up. If the red LED doesn't light, please check the
battery. Be sure to turn the switch off after each use to preserve the battery life.
4. Rotate the wheel to turn the probe on and adjust volume by rotating the thumbwheel.
Approximately 1/2 ON position will deliver the clearest sound with the least amount of background
noise. Where noise is fainter, and/or background noise lighter, adjust the volume higher.
Maintenance
WARINGI Do not attempt to repair or service your device unless you are qualified to do so.
To avoid damage to the device do not get water inside the case.
1. Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use solvents.
2. Turn the amplifier off when it is not in use. Remove the batteries if it is going to be stored for a
long period of time.
3. Do not store in a place of high humidity or high temperature.
4. To replace the batteries on amplifier, simply open the rear of the unit battery cover and replace
the battery with a 9V battery.
