The perfect combination of speed and quality for every imaging application
The Better Light Super 6K-HS produces the ultimate in
image quality, subject detail and tonal range. It can deliver
results superior to 8 x 10 inch transparency film in a fraction
of the time, without consumable costs or processing
surprises.
The Super 6K-HS features more versatility and performance
than any other digital camera system. Adjust the image
resolution level to satisfy any job requirement from volume
catalog work to fine art reproduction; from close-up jewelry to
architectural photography. Boost sensitivity up to ISO 3200
at any resolution setting, for faster scans with less light. Fine
tune color balance to provide perfect neutrals using any
lighting setup, without compromising data integrity.
Record first-generation digital images with perfect,
uninterpolated pixel data up to 6000 x 8000 pixels (274 MB
48-bit RGB file). Or, choose Enhanced Resolution™ settings
up to 9000 x 12000 pixels (618 MB), to produce larger file
sizes from cropped images, or to increase scanning
resolution to avoid moiré patterns. Unlike post-capture
interpolation, these Enhanced Resolution settings record
additional image information during the scan, for sharper,
more detailed images.
Work with your existing 4x5 view camera and lenses, in the
studio or on location. Focus and compose normally on the
ground glass and insert the Better Light scan back just like
a film holder. Use any continuous light source, including
daylight, HID, fluorescent, HMI or tungsten; line-frequency
flicker rejection even allows the use of standard
magnetic-ballast fluorescent or HMI lights. Easy-to-use
camera software enhances productivity and keeps your
attention on creativity in front of the lens. Rapid prescans
provide accurate feedback about image composition and
exposure, allowing each image to be quickly adjusted to
a level of perfection well beyond the capabilities of film.
