W Series Service Manual

Task B. To reinstall the mounting plates:

For J trim

, position the J alignment plate on the outside of the door.

For all other trim, go to step 2.

2. Install the outside and inside mounting plates.

3. Install the two mounting plate screws from the inside of the door.

Task C. To reinstall the escutcheons (for J trim and M trim only):

1. Position the inside and outside escutcheons on the door.

2. Install the upper and lower escutcheon screws from the inside of

the door.

Note:

The J escutcheon has only an upper escutcheon screw.
