DANGER
TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH
Before leaving the operator’s seat, lower attachment to
the ground, set park brake, turn off vehicle engine and
remove key and disengage accessory PTO, kill accessory
engine with emergency switch and keep the emergency
switch engaged until you need to start the accessory
engine. See pre-start instruction before starting engine.
Never allow anyone in or near the operating station when
you are working on/around the vehicle or accessory.
WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death :

Always follow all safety precautions in the important
safety information section of this manual.

Follow all instructions and safety precautions in your
vehicle manual and any other related accessory
manual.
•
Use jack and support blocks to support equipment
when required. Carefully release pressure from
equipment with stored energy.
•
Replace parts on this accessory with genuine parts
only.
•
Never work or walk under the accessory unless
securely blocked. Otherwise accessory can fall.
•
Never allow untrained personnel to service machine.
DANGER
To avoid serious injury or death:
Before doing any snowblower maintenance, disconnect
the wire from the spark plug(s) and keep away from spark
plug(s) to prevent accidental starting.
Maintenances
Engine Maintenance
Maintain the engine according to the instruction in the
engine’s owner’s manual.
Snowblower maintenance
Check mounting bolts at frequent intervals for proper
tightness in order to prevent costly repairs. Make sure your
snowblower is in safe working condition.
Cutting edge maintenance
Verify from time to time the wearing on the cutting edge
to make sure you do not wear out the base of the
snowblower’s frame. This cutting edge is reversible.
Unscrew the bolts and turn the cutting edge. Reinstall with
new carriage bolts 5/16’’ x 3/4’’ grade 5 and new lock nuts
5/16’’.
