3.2.3 Install the device
The device is designed for installation in extractor hoods.
The device is controlled via the extractor hood.
Observe the extractor hood instructions.
D ATTENTION!
Danger of damage due to falling parts.
The cover can fall down when it is being removed and
damage the hob, the kitchen furnishings or other objects.
☞
When removing the cover, hold it tightly in both hands.
☞
Protect the area below the device (e.g. using thick
cardboard).
☞
Use a size 2.5 Allen key to unscrew the screws on the
cover of the ceiling lift hood.
☞
Remove the cover upwards. Pay attention to the support
cable and the mains cable.
☞
Remove the perforated panel from the dividing wall of
the fan box.
☞
Deburr the panel edges.
☞
Place the device into the ceiling lift hood from above.
When doing so, ensure that it is the right way round.
☞
Ensure that the device is correctly positioned.
☞
Make sure that cables are not kinked, crushed or
damaged.
3.2.4 Connecting the device
The device is controlled via the free connection for the wall
box.
☞
Connect the 4-pole plug from the device to the rear side
of the ceiling lift hood electrical box.
☞
Plug the Wieland plug from the device into the Wieland
socket on the ceiling lift hood.
☞
Make sure that cables are not kinked, crushed or
damaged.
