Chapter 3: Installation Procedure
The hygrostat is set to 80% and the heater is set to 0
o
C at the factory. You can
adjust either setting to reflect your conditions. An LED in each knob indicates
whether the function is active.

Finalizing the Installation
1. With the inverter still turned off, perform a visual inspection of the wire
labels to make sure:
a. All of the ungrounded input wires are terminated to the proper location
on the circuit breakers.
b. The ungrounded output wires are terminated to the proper location on
the ungrounded busbar.
c. The grounded inputs and outputs are terminated to the grounded busbar
in a balanced arrangement or bypass the BUSS if grounded busbar is not
present.
d. The equipment ground wires are terminated to the equipment ground
busbar.
2. Verify that the correct wires are connected to the proper locations on the
inverter.
3. Verify torque on all factory and field connections before system start-up.
4. Padlock the enclosure handle to insure only qualified personnel have access
to the units.
5. Start up the system per the inverter manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Bentek recommends that you take IR readings at the time of system start-up
in order to verify connection point integrity as transit vibration can
sometimes loosen connections.
