Adjusting video standards manually
The graphics card determines the signal format from the Regional and
Language Options selections in Control Panel. However, when you travel
to another country/region, you might need to re-adjust TV format
selections manually. To do so, follow the steps below.
The drivers pre-installed on your Joybook may vary, so the screens
shown below vary depending on your purchased model.
1. Right-click on the desktop, and then select Graphics Properties.
2. Click Display Settings, and then select the Television tab.
3. Select the appropriate standard from the drop-down list next to Video
Standard.
The required settings of Video Standard may vary by country/region. For
details about which standard is used in your country/region, check with
your local authorities.
If your driver is different from the one shown above and does not allow
you to select the video standard manually, go to Control Panel, Clock,
Language, and Region, and Change the country or region to change the
location to where you are currently located in. The graphics card will
then determine the signal format from here.
