Using the phone as a
card reader
You can use your phone as a card reader
to transfer files between the computer
and the micro SD card.
1. Connect the phone to a computer via
the USB cable.
2. When asked to activate a
mass
storage device
, press
or
(
Yes
) to establish a connection.
3. On the computer, double-click the
My Computer icon to open the
My Computer panel where a remova-
ble disk icon representing the storage
capacity of the micro SD card is
displayed.
You can now use the phone as a card
reader by copying/pasting/deleting
files between the computer and the
micro SD card.

Several settings can be stored in a phone
profile, for example, to adapt the phone
to the surrounding level of noise.
• Six standard profiles are provided
with default settings:
General

Silent,
Meeting

Outdoor

Car kit

Headset
.
You can edit the default settings.
• You can set and rename two personal
profiles (
User profile 1
and
User
profile 2
).
Activating a profile
1. Select a default profile or a personal
profile.
2. Press
to activate the profile.
Profile settings
Edit a default profile or create a new per-
sonal profile:
Only available with the micro SD card
inserted.
When copying a file from your com-
puter to the micro SD card, you must
place the file in the folder intended
for the type of file.
For example, an MP3 file must be
placed in the MP3 folder in order to be
successfully used in the phone.
Bluetooth car kits do not support profiles,
such as, General, Silent, Meeting,
Outdoor, Car kit, Headset.
