Introduction
The insulation and resistance measuring device BENNING IT 100 described here (in the
following only referred to as “device”) is intended for testing in circuits with a nominal voltage up
to a maximum of 600 V‑AC or 600 V‑DC. The device enables you to perform the following tests
and measurements:
• DC and AC voltage measurement
• Resistance measurement
• Continuity test
• Low-resistance measurement
• Insulating resistance measurement
• Measuring / calculating the polarisation index (PI)
• Measuring / calculating the dielectric absorption ratio (DAR)
