CM ERROR MESSAGES

The configuration module (APM) has additional error messages that
are displayed on the PFD screen. If the APM has a configuration fail-
ure, the message “APM Configuration Error Service Required” is dis-
played on power up.

If there is a configuration mismatch, an “APM Configuration Mismatch
Erro r Service Required” is displayed on the PFD screen. The external
CM and internally-stored backup CM have conflicting data. The screen
will be locked and normal operation is not possible. If this message is
displayed during ground operations, flight is prohibited. If this mes-
sage is displayed in flight, standby instruments must be used. Immedi-
ate maintenance is required with aircraft on the ground. The issue can
be fixed through the Installer Menu.
