VSD HORIZONTAL/VERTICAL SCALE
The VSD horizontal range scale numbering and markers are consis-
tent with the map view. The VSD range is the same as the map view
range (min. 10 NM and max. 100 NM).
The upper value of the scale is 1000 FT above the airplane ownship
altitude and the lower value is 2000 FT below the airplane ownship.
