5.3.3.5
Tests on de-energized DUTs
In accordance with classification, all tests during which the DUT is not in operation (e.g. PE
conductor test, insulation test, substitute leakage current) are carried out at this point.
5.3.3.6
Tests on connected DUTs
If the “Warning notice” message has been activated in the master data screen, the following
warning notice will appear before the DUT is connected to the system voltage.
Warm-up phase
If the “Start-up” function is set to “Manual start” in the master data screen, UNIMET® 1100ST
will wait until the DUT has booted up or is ready for operation. Once the test object has been
connected to the mains supply, the following message appears. Switch the DUT on and wait
until it is ready for operation.
During testing of the insulation resistance, a direct touch current of up to 1.8 mA
may be conducted on faulty test objects or in the event of direct contact with the
test probe. IEC 61010 permits a direct touch current of up to 2 mA.
Aborts the test.
ENTER key
Continues the test. The DUT is connected to the power supply.
