10. Internal components and modules

Connection via I²C bus

Communication between the BM800/BM400 and different modules can be established by means of
the I²C bus.

10.1 BM800 and BM400 module

10.1.1 BM800 and BM400 dimensions

Assign the addresses in consecutive order. The system can only function reliably
when there are no gaps between the individual addresses.

Use the module's inputs and outputs for its intended purpose only. It this is not
taken into consideration the module and/or any component connected to it
may be damaged.
Example: Never connect open collector outputs or digital inputs to the mains
voltage! Risk of destruction!
