NOTE:
After the Controlled Rewarming step is selected, it takes time for
the system to reach equilibrium and adjust the patient's
temperature according to the programmed rewarming step. This
is due to variabilities in individual patient medication, health
indicators and the environment.
If, during the rewarming phase, the core temperature becomes more than
0.8°C below the Target Temperature, the following message appears:
If, during the rewarming phase, the core temperature becomes more
than 2°C below the target temperature, the following message appears:
“Check that the Core Temperature Probe is positioned correctly in the
patient and then touch OK to continue rewarming.”
