Making a Direct Connection
from Lucent Intuity COM1 to 
a 715 Terminal or Other DCE 
Device

Use the following procedure and illustration to make these connections.

1. Attach an RS-232 cable to COM1 on the back of the MAP/5 platform.

2. Attach the other end of the RS-232 cable to the 715 terminal DCE port or 

other DCE device.
