Example: Driving LEDs from the GPI Outputs
MV-841/851 GPI outputs have open collector drivers. There is a +5 V DC screw terminal on the
GPIO connector to provide the power needed to drive LEDs or relays.
The following schematic is an example of the circuit needed to drive an LED by each GPI
output. MV-841/851 GPIO connector pin names and numbers are shown on the left.
