About this Manual

Thank you for purchasing your new MV-831 Multiviewer from Grass Valley, a Belden brand.

This MV-831 Multiviewer User Manual describes how to install, configure and operate the MV-
831 Multiviewer in a Grass Valley Sirius 830 router. It provides any relevant safety information.

Refer to the Sirius 830 Router Installation Manual for details on how to unpack, install and test a
Sirius 830 router. Refer to the Sirius 800 Router User Manual for router details. Some of the
safety warnings and cautions given the Sirius router manuals are repeated in this MV-831 User
Manual and are provided herein for information.
