General Safety
Guidelines
While installing the BelAir100SN, follow the following general safety guidelines:
• Avoid excessive moving, touching or repositioning the unit while it is either
transmitting or receiving.
• Perform all installation steps, except fine pointing (if required) with the unit
disconnected from its power source.
• Do not attempt to install, move or reposition the unit during periods of
atmospheric electrical activity (lightning storms) or high winds.
• If you need to disconnect power from the BelAir unit, make sure to first
disconnect AC power at the source before removing the power connector
from the BelAir unit.
• When installing the unit where the ambient temperature is below 32 °F
(0 ºC), exposed metal parts will be cold. Avoid handling exposed metal
fittings with bare hands.
• Follow all local and national safety codes when installing the BelAir100SN. In
certain “hazardous” locations, installation of this equipment may be further
governed by the local site safety authority.

undertaking this work, be sure to familiarize yourself with
appropriate safety practices, personal protective equipment
(PPE) and have a plan in case of accident.

Only personnel qualified by BelAir Networks or by one of its
authorized resellers or channel partners should install the
BelAir unit.
