10.8 Full performance of the cooling unit
The full functionality depends on a few conditions:

Ambient temperature max. 26°C
+
Relative humidity max. 60%
+
No draughts or spot illumination that reduce or impair the refrigeration performance.
+
Cooling power from a properly connected central unit.
+
No manipulation of the basic settings.
+
Proper regular cleaning of evaporator, tub and fan.
+
No changing of the temperature sensor positions.
+
No overloading of the counter.
Furthermore, the principle applies:
+
The products in the cooling unit can maintain the temperatures at which they have been placed in
the counter.
The supplier Beer Grill guarantees the full functionality of the cooling appliances cor-
rectly filled with food.
Repeatedly, we have checked and recorded temperatures in graphic images. These reveal:
+
That automatic defrosting is performed every 2 to 3 hours.
+
That a temperature peak is recorded every 2 to 3 hours.
+
That this temperature peak is a consequence of the automatic defrosting.
10.9 Daily work with the cooling device
If the environmental parameters are fulfilled five essential points must be observed in the daily operating
routine of the Cold Rack cold counter:
+
The food must be pre-cooled to a maximum of +5°C before being put in the showcase.
+
For appliances operating with individual cooling units it must be assured that the cooling unit can
draw sufficient cool ambient air and that the warm exhaust air can freely escape upwards.
+
The prescribed defrosting intervals must be adhered to by all means; this assures that the evaporator
will not freeze over.
+
The veil of circulating air before the rear wall must not be obstructed by products placed too close
to the rear wall.
+
The supplied price label holder or the low glass front panel must be fitted at the very bottom to
prevent warm air being drawn in.
