10.7 Recirculating air cooling
The refrigeration units work with circulated air. The cooling power is delivered from individual or central
cooling units. The goods being presented are cooled in circulating air cooling shelves by means of a di-
rected cold air haze.
This air haze is moved by means of ventilators which suck the air from the goods area through a return
air duct (1). The air then enters the evaporator below the goods display panel (2), circulating evenly. At
the same time it is cooled down and blown into the goods area through an incoming air duct (3). The
heat drawn off from the interior is dissipated to the environment via the cooling unit (4 + 5).
However, this mode of operation can only be guaranteed if

the feeding (1) and exhaust (3) vents are not obstructed.

the cold air curtain (3) is not impaired.

the cold air supply (4) and the hot air exhaust (5) are pro-
vided by the unit.

the heat exchanger (radiator - 6) is regularly cleaned of ac-
cumulated dust.
Please take care that the venting slots of the rear ventilation channel are not ob-
structed. Allow for at least 3 cm distance between the channel and the food. The circu-
lation of cold air must always be assured.
