Built-in units
The appliances may only be installed by qualified and authorized experts.
When installing units in a niche you have to assure the airflow of the forced air-circulation.
Take special care,
+
that during installation, ample space for ambient air circulation is provided behind the condenser.
+
that the ventilation openings equal the surface of the condenser.
+
that the condenser is always freely accessible and is never blocked or covered.

Heat radiation and illumination
The influence of heat radiation should by reduced to a minimum. Therefore do not place the item in
areas exposed to direct sunlight, close to non-insulated walls and roofs heated up by solar radiation
or other heat sources. Do not point spotlights directly at the Cold Rack. Exposing Cold Rack equip-
ment to heat re-duces its cooling power and increases operating costs.
Do not place the Cold Rack nearby steam producing items. This can cause increased
icing in the evaporator and reduce the cooling power of the system!

Condensate disposal
As your appliance is operated in an open area, the daily amount of condensation water can reach
10 litres. This must be drained off in the building (HD 52 drain pipe fitted with a syphon). If a drain
cannot be provided, use the condensation water tub and empty and clean it daily.

Location and storage
The appliances contain electronic components that may not be stored in cold and humid areas.
Make sure that no condensate water can form during storage.
If an appliance has been out of service for a prolonged time and has been stored in a cool or humid
area, it must be thoroughly checked before restarting.
Contact with salt water is strictly forbidden. If an appliance is installed at a swimming pool, it is
essential to assure that the equipment does not get in contact with substances containing chlorine
or acids that may affect the anti-corrosive protection of the metal construction.
Attention, stainless steel is not totally resistant to substances containing chlorine or
acids. These may corrode the equipment's materials. The appliances must not get in
contact with such substances!
