27. Only fill the utensil up to the maximum mark. Hot water may splash out if you
overfill it.
28. Pull the plug out and allow the utensil to cool before cleaning it.

29. Do not allow the mains lead to hang over corners (trip-wire effect).
CAUTION – Material damage
30. Never transport the utensil when it is hot, and make sure it is empty before
transporting it.
31. The handles of the tank are only for transportation purposes.
32. Operate the appliance only on a horizontal, even surface. This base must be
heat resistant and sufficiently stable. Think about the overall weight of the
utensil when full.
Always make sure there is a safe distance to flammable parts.
33. The plug must be easily accessible so that you can pull it out quickly if
necessary.
34. Do not place the utensil on a base with a surface which is sensitive to water.
Splashing water or condensed steam could cause damage.
35. Never place the appliance near a gas flame, electric hotplate or other source of
heat. External heat can damage the appliance.

Before first using this appliance

Ensure that all packaging material has been removed from the appliance (protective
film, etc.).
•
Under no circumstances remove the rating label or any warning labels.
CAUTION: check that the appliance is not damaged. If any parts are damaged,
do not use the appliance and contact a qualified service engineer.
•
Do not place the appliance beneath an overhanging cupboard.
•
Clean the appliance and the accessories before using it for the first time. This will
remove any debris that might remain from the production process.
