Frothing milk
To make sure your cappuccino or latte macchiato is a success, first of all prepare
everything for the coffee. The milk froth is ready very quickly and should be prepared at
the end
To prepare tasty milk froth:
1.
Put the whisk head on the shaft in the middle of the milk container
(fig. 1) and check this is firmly attached to the shaft.
2.
Pour the desired amount of milk into the milk container (fig. 2).
3.
Put the milk container on the power supply base (fig. 3).
4.
Press the start button (fig. 4).
5.
The frothing process begins.
6.
After around 1 – 2 minutes you will have hot milk froth. The more
milk you pour into the appliance, the longer the frothing process will
take.
7.
Pour the milk froth onto the ready coffee.
8.
Take out the remaining froth with a tablespoon.
NOTE: the bottom of the milk frother is equipped with a non-stick coating which
prevents the milk sticking. You should therefore make sure that you do not
damage this coating with sharp or pointed objects. It is best to use cutlery
made of heat-resistant plastic to spoon out the milk froth.
You should observe the following quantities to make sure that enough froth can form:
fill with at least 100 ml of milk;
fill with a maximum of 300 ml of milk.
NOTE: never fill the container with more milk than indicated. Otherwise the milk
froth may overflow.
NOTE: when the start button (5) has been pressed it lights up. In this case you
only have to pour in the milk, the frothing process will begin automatically
when you put the appliance on the base (6). You can froth milk again then only
when the appliance has cooled down. The milk frother can not be switched off
with the start button!
NOTE: if you want to froth milk again, you will have to wait until the appliance
has fully cooled down. When the appliance is still hot it can not be used. The
appliance switches off automatically until it has cooled sufficiently and can not
be switched on again until after it has cooled down.
