Cleaning and Care
NOTES
• Before commencing the cleaning, note the safety instructions in the “Safe-
ty Instructions” chapter!
• Clean the device after every use to prevent the formation of germs.
• Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or scouring sponges
to clean the device. These can damage the surface.
1. Remove the drawer ( 2 ) with the basket insert ( 6 ) from the device.
2. Press the release button ( 7 ) on the handle of the basket insert ( 4 ) and use the handle
to pull the basket insert upwards out of the drawer.
3. If you have not already done so, empty the basket insert and the drawer.
4. Clean the drawer and the basket insert with warm water and a mild detergent. In the
case of stubborn dirt, we recommend soaking the drawer and the basket insert in
warm water and detergent beforehand.
5. Clean the housing, the inside of the drawer compartment and the heating elements if
necessary with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
6. Allow all parts to dry completely before the device is reassembled and / or stored
away.
7. Check the mains cable regularly for any damage.
Storage
Disconnect the device from the mains power when it is not going to be used. Clean the
device again (see the “Cleaning and Care” chapter) to avoid possible mould formation.
Mould can cause spots and damage on the device that can no longer be removed / re-
paired. Allow the device and all accessories to dry completely.
Store the device and all accessories in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected from
direct sunlight and cannot be accessed by children or animals.
