Obtaining Logs
Whenever unusual behaviour is suspected, or unexpected error messages are received, it’s
important that your service engineers are informed with as much information as possible. In such
circumstances, it’s highly recommended to make a copy of all of the software log files and send
them forward with your issue report as they would contain a record of all run information, user
inputs and error codes that have happened in the most recent runs.
Gaining access to the logs is a straight-forward procedure, but you will need a USB storage device
at hand:
1.
Navigate to the main menu of the application
2.
Open the system menu flyout and select the “Logging” tab
3.
Press the primary button that will copy the logs to USB
4.
When the new window appears, select your USB device
5.
With your USB device selected, confirm the selection
6.
Wait a few moments while the instrument copies over all of the required files
Once you’ve downloaded the software log files onto the USB, send them to the appropriate
representative.
