Priming the Syringes

Returning to Home Position

Step

Action

Prime syringes 10 times by selecting:

• the Utils icon from the menu bar,

• <1> Prime,

• CC [F2],

• Reagent and/or Sample Delivery Subsystem,

• 10 in the Number of primes to repeat field,

• MC [F4],

• Sample Delivery Subsystem (10 primes are already selected).

Select <Start Prime>.

Check the syringes and aspiration lines for air bubbles. If bubbles persist
after priming:

Remove syringe and repeat "Installing the Syringe," Steps 4–6 and
"Priming the Syringes," Step 1.

Action

Select the Instr Cmd icon from the menu bar.

Select <1> Home.

All instrument parts will return to their home positions.
