Patient Results – Immediate Reporting Setup
Introduction
Immediate Reporting Setup provides the option to print and/or send-to-host results as
they are completed on the system.
When the STAT reporting option is selected, any MC chemistry programmed as a
STAT will immediately print and/or be sent to the host as soon as it is completed. If the
ALL reporting option is selected, all of the MC chemistries will print and/or be sent to
the host as soon as they are completed.
The Immediate Reporting option includes the ability to enable or disable the report at
both the printer and at the host. Output may be generated to: (1) the printer, (2) the
host, (3) both printer and host, or (4) neither printer nor host.
Immediate reporting to the host can also be enabled for Critical Result Reruns.
Chemistries which are not complete at the time of interim STAT or ALL reports are
designated by the message Results Not Available in place of results. The report
includes any results that are complete at the time the report is generated. A final report
with all results is printed upon completion of the sample.
