9. Inspect the Winding Drum (31) set screws. Set screw at flat portion of the motor shaft must be below the
surface of the drum by approximately
3mm . Set screw at round portion of the motor shaft must be below
the drum surface by approximately 2mm .
If either set screw is loose, prepare screw threads with Loctite 425 Assure Sealant (or equivalent metal
adhesive) and tighten screw until it is the proper distance below the surface of the drum.

Inspect the two white teflon Levers (items 5 and 44) to verify both spring back promptly when pressed
down. Verify attached tensions springs (items 7 and 42) are properly installed and are not stretched or
damaged. Note the levers do not require any lubrication and must be kept clean to operate properly.
If necessary, remove levers by loosening a metric M3 x 6 set screw (items 8 or 39). Place a gap of 0.05
mm (0.002 inch) between the lever and Pin (items 6 or 43) and tighten the set screw.

Inspect the ORG1 sensor to verify the inner portion of the sensor is clean. Re-assemble unit by inserting
into unit and attaching the right shaft

end (item 4) into the hole at the instrument
抯
front wall. Then
re-attach the two screws (32) holding unit to the instrument and reconnect the two electrical cables.
12.
Verify the levers (5 and 44) safely clear the slots in the steel Rack Guide Assembly plate.
13.
Re-attach the Back Plate Frame 20 (see item 2 on page 10.34) by securing six M4 x 12 metric allen
screws (item 1). Re-connect electrical cables CN131, CN132 and CN136.
14.
Replace all covers and run With Tube Run in Service Test Mode (see page 7.4) for 30 minutes to verify
instrument is working properly.
