Figure 6-13 below is a block diagram of the Infeed electrical operation. Sensor

PH1

detects the

presence of a tube rack in the load position. The PH1 signal is sent via connector CN130 to the
Mother Board CN10 connector and then to the I/O (Sub) PC Board. The I/O board in turn sends this
rack status to the CPU (Main) PC Board. All sensors (PH1 to PH9 and ORG1 to ORG4) similarly
report their statuses to the I/O PC Board and the CPU PC Board in turn.

The CPU board then directs the Driver (NPUC) PC Board to turn the PM1 Motor to move this tube
rack inward. Sensor

ORG1

determines when the Infeed Assembly (including the PM1 Motor) is at

its home position. Once the tube rack reaches the start of the crossfeed area, sensor

ORG2

informs the CPU Board of the rack
