During the parallel PD and dissipation factor measurement and during the Full MWT test, the
measurement results of the PD testing and the dissipation factor measurement or MWT
measurement with tan
are evaluated separately.
Evaluate the PD measurement data in the BAUR software 4 on the laptop.

Evaluate the dissipation factor measurements or MWT measurement with tan δ on the
VLF HV generator or on the laptop using Diagnostics Reporter.
To transfer the measurement data from the dissipation factor measurement or the MWT
test to the laptop, proceed as follows:
a. Select one of the test logs.
b. Export the log to the laptop using a USB drive.
c. If you want to process the logs on the laptop, use the Diagnostic Reporter.

13.1 Saving the log of the measurements carried out on the VLF
HV generator
1. When you have completed the measurement, in the bottom menu bar, select the menu
item
Finish
and press the rotary knob to confirm.
A prompt appears asking if you really want to save the log.
2. Confirm the prompt by pressing
Yes
.
3. If you have enabled the setting
Add ambient temperature to log
, an ambient
temperature prompt appears.
Enter the ambient temperature at which the diagnostic testing has been carried out. This
information is inserted into the log.
4. The window for entering a name for the log opens. The device suggests a name
composed of date (month, day) and time.
5. If you want to save the log under another name, enter a name.
a. In order to navigate between letters, turn the rotary knob.
b. In order to confirm selection, press the rotary knob.
6. In order to save the log you have the following options:
Save log in the device memory:
a. Select the button
OK
and press the rotary knob to confirm.
Save log on a USB drive:
b. Insert a USB drive in the USB port of the VLF HV generator.
c. Select the button
USB
and press the rotary knob to confirm.
The device switches to the USB drive directory.
d. Select a folder in which the log is to be saved.
To create a new folder, select the menu item
Create new folder
and enter a name
for the new folder.
