6.  Operation

Always place the halogen heater on a firm, flat and stable surface.

Never operate the halogen heater without the honeycombed grill.

If the halogen heater is not to be used for a long period of time, store it in a

clean and dry place.

The heater must not be used near bathtubs, showers, swimming pools or

washbasins. It must not be possible to operate the heater when you are in

contact with water.

Do not position the device right underneath a mains outlet.

Do not operate the device in conjunction with a timer, a separate remote

control system or other equipment which could turn the heating device on

automatically.  This  would  constitute  a  fire  hazard,  as  would  covering  the

device or positioning it otherwise incorrectly.

1.  Now insert the mains plug into a mains socket for the public supply grid.

2.  You switch the halogen heater on by pressing the main switch „6“ (POWER). The first heating

level (400 W) is activated.

3.  You switch the halogen heater off by pressing the main switch again. Always pull out the

mains plug from the mains socket after you switch the halogen heater off.

4.  By pressing buttons „7“ and „8“ (400 W), you can increase or decrease the heating power.

(W is watts)

5.  If you press the oscillation switch „9“ (TURN), the heater will start to turn to the left and to

the right.

6.  The halogen heater is equipped with a safety device that switches the heater off automatically

if it falls over.

7.  If the heater does not work when you switch it on, check to see whether it is standing on a firm,

flat and stable surface and whether the switch of the safety device is jammed.

7.  Cleaning and maintenance

Observe the safety instruction for this and pull the mains plug out of the

socket.

Before cleaning the heater, always pull out the mains plug and allow the heater to cool down. The

housing can be wiped clean with a slightly moist cloth. Do not use abrasives. This could damage

the coating. If the openings are dirty, they can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. If you are not

using the heater, keep it stored in a safe and dry place.

8.  Disposal

In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment, protect human

health and utilise natural resources prudently and rationally, the user should return

unserviceable product to relevant facilities in accordance with statutory regulations.

The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the product needs to be disposed separately

and not as municipal waste.
