Operation

The individual menus of the Ex p control unit are described in the following
chapters. Ex p specific configuration and settings are described in the
Commissioning chapter.

The complete solution is self-starting after connection of purging gas supply and
supply voltage. System states can be queried via the WEB interface.

WEB interface

The Ex p control station is supplied with a fixed IP address as standard.

Standard IP address (factory default): 192.168.11.101

The following options are available to establish a connection between laptop and
PC.

Laptop (192.168.11.99 // 255.255.0.0)

Direct

Indirect

USB / LAN interface converter

Ex p Control Unit (192.168.11.101)

Adjusting the LAN connection

Settings for the LAN interface on the PC (or converter / managed switch) must be
programmed so that it can communicate with the Ex p control unit.
