Inspection of Brake Pedal
When depressing the brake pedal fully,
make sure that there is appropriate
clearance between the floorboard and the
pedal or pedal reserve distance.
When depressing the brake pedal fully,
make sure that the pedal reaction is not
spongy and that there is no noise.
When depressing the brake pedal during
traveling, make sure that the machine stops
smoothly and the braking is sufficiently
effective.
Inspection of Parking Brake
Depress the brake pedal and pull the
parking brake lever to check that the
parking brake is applied effectively.
Make sure that the brake is not applied
even slightly after you depress the brake
pedal to release the parking brake lever.
