Magnetic switch
The magnetic switch is located on the right
side behind the rear cover. When the key
switch is set to the
“ START ” position, the coil
in the magnetic switch magnetically attracts the
plunger. When the plunger comes into close
contact with (1) and (2) of the figure, a large
current flows to the starter motor from the
battery, the starter motor starts to turn and the
engine starts. When the key switch is set to the
“
ON
”
position, the magnetic force in the
magnetic switch disappears, causing the
starter motor to stop.
