Stop ring
Caution
When attaching the stop ring to a hole or a
shaft, the stop ring may become disengaged
from the dedicated pliers, fly off, and cause
injury.
Take extra precautions to ensure that the stop
ring does not become disengaged from the
pliers.
Caution
When attaching the stop ring to a hole or a
shaft, do not contract or expand the stop ring
more than necessary.
Excessive contraction or expansion of the
stop ring may cause increased deformation,
which may lead to play and disengagement
from the groove.
There are two types of stop rings: one for a
hole and one for a shaft. Both stop rings
have a front and a back.
The front side is rounded, and the back side
has a sharp edge.
