Removal and installation of each
section
Steering Section
Removing the Steering Wheel Section
Move the machine to level surface.
Apply the parking brake, and then lower the
operating machine.
Stop the engine, and then remove the key.
Lift the front section using a jack or the like,
place the jack stand at the jackup point,
and secure the main body.
Remove the steering wheel.
Remove the front cover.
Remove the relay wire.
Remove the panel stay.
Remove the grip section of the throttle
lever.
Remove the grip section of the tilt lever.
Remove the warning lamp and buzzer wire
for the bucket internal recovery amount.
Cut the vinyl band that holds the harness.
Remove the operation panel and slide the
panel in the direction indicated by the
arrow.

Remove the U nut, and remove the joint
pin.

Loosen the tilt lever.
Loosen the nuts and the bolts with a
hexagonal hole.
Loosen the bolt, and remove the tilt lever,
disc spring washer, and washer.

Remove the left and right nuts.
Remove the left and right bolts and
washers.
Remove the axial installation bracket from
the steering gearbox.
