APPENDIX B: OPERATING LIMITS

The DPS1000 comes with 2 predefined sets of operating limits, the (1) default limits profile and
the (2) max limits profile.

The unit also includes limits files for each of the three operating modes: (1) Aeronautical, (2)
Pressure units and (3) EPR. Each of these three operating modes contains a default limits profile
and a max limits profile. The values for both limits profiles are stored in a

“read only” (R/O) file.

There will also be a max limits profile for each of the three modes; these values are also stored in
a R/O file.

Test Set will power up and initialize with the default limits profile when the product first ships. If
the customer changes the limits to the max or a custom limits profile, the Test Set will power up
using the last profile selected.

The following tables represent the default and max limits profile values included in the Test Set:
