Description
Effect
Applies a Gaussian blur on the image.
Amount X
and
Amount
Y
specify the number of adjacent of pixels to use for the blur.
Blur XY
Crops the image in a box from (left, top) to (right, bottom).
Values outside of the box are set to transparent.
Crop
Flips the image horizontally or vertically.
Flip
Creates a motion blur by blending previous images with the
current image. The higher the
Factor
, the longer the images
linger and the stronger the effect looks.

Table 7.10. Media effects descriptions
See
Table F.1, “Video effect actions”
for the parameters affecting these media effects.
Color-swap effects
: Color-swap effects swap RGB color channels. The swap factors specify
the ratio of the swapped color to take for a channel (i.e. at 50%, the value for that channel
is the average between the original value and the swapped value).
Add
variants perform
an
RGB Add
effect after the swap, with the appropriate parameters.
Multiply
variants
perform an
RGB Multiply
effect after the swap, with appropriate parameters.
Invert
in-
verts the final result.
Key effects
: One or more keys are either implicitly defined (black, white) or specified.
Pixels with values that match the key are set to transparent. There are both soft and
hard thresholds for each key. If multiple keys are part of an effect, a value must match
all the keys. If difference of a value from the key is above the hard threshold, the value
does not match the key. If it is below the soft threshold, it matches the key. If it is between
the thresholds, it is linearly interpolated between the soft and hard thresholds.
Invert
inverts the final result.
Mask
applies the key, and then makes all remaining color in the
image black.
Transition
Fade In Time:
duration of fade-in
Fade Out Time:
duration of fade-out
Color Correction
The industry-standard parameters for color correction are:
Gamma:
the gamma correction factor
Min Input:
the minimum input value (black)
Max Input:
the maximum input value (white)
Hue Offset:
the hue offset, represented as an angle between −180 and 180 on
a hue wheel
Saturation:
the saturation boost factor, between −100% and +100%
