All electronic information products (EIP) that are sold within Chinese Mainland must
comply with the “Electronic Information Products Pollution Control Labeling Standard”
of Chinese Mainland, marked with the Environmental Friendly Use Period (EFUP) logo.
The number inside the EFUP logo that Barco uses (see the figure) is based on the
“Standard of Electronic Information Products Environmental Friendly Use Period” of
Chinese Mainland.

1.6 Terms and definitions
3G SDI
A 3 Gbit/s serial digital 10-bit or 12-bit video inter-
face (SMPTE 424M and 425M).
Active DisplayPort-to-DVI Ad-
apter
A DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter that converts the
DisplayPort signal to DVI. A passive DisplayPort-
to-DVI Adapter carries the signal from a DisplayPort
port to a DVI port, without conversion. With a
passive adapter, the video card must perform the
conversion.
Genlock A module that allows synchronization to external
sources and delivers synchronized display output.
HD-SDI High-Definition Serial Digital Interface; an HD-SDI
signal (SMPTE 292M). Format examples include
720p, 1080i, and 1080p.
