6.1 Power cabling diagram of the Solaris LD display

The above illustration shows the power cabling of a Solaris LD 150 model, seen from the rear of the display. In this configuration
the Solaris D2 digitizer is built-in inside the housing of the display.
The power box (A) is located at the side of the display providing five (5) power source cables (C) which continue in horizontal power
branches created with power split cables (F). One split cable provides power to one tile (E). The output plug (H) of the last power
split cable in the horizontal chain is left unused.
It’s recommended to realize the power cabling from left to right seen from the rear of the Solaris LD display,
because the shape of the power split cable allows easy cabling in this direction. This includes that the power
box must be installed at the left side, seen from the rear of the display. Nevertheless, if desired, the power
box can be installed at the other side of the display and the power cabling realized in the other direction.
The built-in Solaris D2 digitizer (D) is also supplied with power from the power box. Therefore an additional power split cable (G) is
inserted between the power source cable and the horizontal power chain nearest the digitizer power socket.
For the Solaris LD models 120 & 140, four (4) power chains are sufficient. So, one power source cable is unused or provides only
power to the built-in Solaris D2 digitizer.

Risk of electric shock / Risk of fire: To protect against risk of fire by overloading of power ca-
bles, MAXIMUM 7 TILES may be connected in parallel. Each power source cable supplying MAXIMUM 7 TILES
should be protected by a circuit breaker or fuses rated 16 A / 250 VAC (15 A / 250 VAC in the USA and Canada).
