7.3 Software update
Software for ILite tiles
Software is stored on four different locations in the ILite tile:
1.
On the FPGA of the re-sync unit : fi rmware re-sync unit (A).
2. On the FPGA of the controller unit : fi rmware controller (B).
3. On the FPGA of the LED driver (or second FPGA on the controller unit in case of ILite XP versions) : fi rmware driver (C).
4. On the CPU of the controller unit : program and boot software (µP).

Flash software like fi rmware re-sync unit, fi rmware controller, fi rmware driver and program code can be updated in the fi eld if required.
CPU boot software can not be upgraded (only factory programmable). New releases of fl ash software are available on the “Partner
Zone” of the Barco web site www.barco.com . Refer to the user guide of the XLite toolset for instructions on reading out the version
of fl ash software and for uploading new versions.
