7.4.7 Passive In fi tec
Introduction
Passive In fi tec is the stereo technology where two projectors are used to display a stereoscopic image to viewers wearing Passive
In fi tec eyewear. One projector has a “left” Passive In fi tec fi lter and displays the left image, whereas the other projector has a “right”
Passive In fi tec fi lter and displays the right image. When looking through Passive In fi tec eyewear, a nice stereoscopic image can be
seen.
If your projector has the Passive In fi tec stereo option on board, the according menu item becomes enabled. The moment you select
a Passive In fi tec stereo source, you must make the selection in the OSD to move the Passive In fi tec fi lter in the light path. While
displaying mono sources or Active (In fi tec) stereo sources, the Passive In fi tec fi lter must be moved out of the light path by selecting
the corresponding setting in the OSD.
How to move the Passive In fi tec fi lter into the light path?
1. In the OSD, highlight Image > Passive In fi tec > On

2. Press Enter to con fi rm the selection. The Passive In fi tec fi lter moves into the light path.
Note: It takes some time before the Passive In fi tec fi lter has fully moved into the light path.
How to move the Passive In fi tec fi lter out of the light path?
1. In the OSD, highlight Image > Passive In fi tec > Off
