7.14 Formatter
Description of the formatter
The formatters receive their power and data signals from the preformatter. Con fi guration is done using the CPLD and fl ash on the
preformatter. Once the con fi guration is loaded successfully, a LED turns on green.
There are three formatters: one for the RED channel, one for the GREEN channel and one for the BLUE channel. The layout of the
green and the blue formatter is equal! The layout of the red formatter is different.
